I am no PSU fan, but they will be loaded next year with six finalists!

Suriano, Retherford, Nolf, 65 pound frosh or Neville,Hall and Nickel. Probably missing a few guys also. Not sure about 65 and hot,but this looks like their best team yet. And don't they get very good light weight and middle weight?
Ya know that's great and all......................but they should really focus on going the f*** away and not be involved in the national title chase.

He has a chance to be the 2nd best Lee competing in college.

The ironic part is I have heard Spencer says how close of friends he is to Nick Lee. And they are not related. I wish we could have gotten Nick. IIRC the only one to beat him for quite some time was Chad Red who is the real deal is his own right breathfire next year at 141 for Nebby as well.

I am not ready to bury Turk or Happel but also realistic on them beating either of those two let alone Kolodzik, McKenna, etc. Iowa has fallen behind other teams at 141 since Montell. Hard to blame the coaches since it was impossible to see Skon & Gross not panning out.

On a more positive note I am hoping either Teasdale is a legit 141 as well as I am very intrigued on what Max Murin's ceiling can be. IMO im putting more stock into Murin's ceiling than Happels. Then there is Sammy Sasso. Is he a 141 or 149.

Ive said it before but this staff needs to RS everyone and align up for 2 seasons from now winning the team title. Lets let Zain, Imart and a few graduate and clear out. Which would mean Spencer RS as well. Im also on the side that Kaleb should be at 165 right now, and then RS next year and 2 years be 174 vs RS now and be 174 next year. IMO Id rather give him on the job experience now and give him 2 year to fill out. We didn't need to take that pin in Stillwater on sunday at 165. Kaleb should have been out there. But that's just me I guess.

Also can see Gobblins point on Kem being 165 and Bull 157. I like it a lot. Makes sense if ones growing and ones not. Which I believe to be true as well.

Fwiw, Nick Lee wrestled Happel ~ 6 mos ago at Jr FS Nationals, and Lee won by TF.

This has been a familiar theme in the past.... Iowa putting their hopes on a guy who has to make up a lot of ground to catch up to the level the PSU recruit is at.

It's simple what Cael is doing. It's called Success With Honor, fellas. Same as it's ever been in Happy Valley. Penn State does it the right way. Always has, always will.

Now come the attacks with all the trite misunderstandings of JoePa and the football program.

This board (or any team board) doesn't need opposing fair weather fans joining up just to boast about their school after a win. It's childish. Real fans show up 365 days a year to talk wrestling with a great bunch of knowledgeable fans.

So happy 2nd post to you. I don't believe you have many more here based on the sample size.
