Hotels.com is giving one traveler 25 free hotel nights – IF they can survive 24 straight hours of Christmas tunes.

Hotels.com wants to give one frequent traveler the gift that will give back throughout 2022, but it comes with a very peculiar catch.

The online travel agency announced their latest contest, the “Not-So-Silent Night,” offering one person 25 free hotel nights next year if they can survive 24 hours of Christmas music in a hotel suite.

Free Hotel Nights Requires Guest to Endure One Whole Day of Christmas Tunes

For those who think they have what it takes, Hotels.com has created the ultimate challenge of holiday fortitude. One entrant into the contest will be given the chance to go one whole day in a specially decorated hotel suite blasting the most festive of tunes all day and night.

“This year, Hotels.com has the ultimate challenge for extreme holiday music fans: the Hotels.com Not-So-Silent Night Challenge,” the company describes on their website. “A 24 hour overnight stay in a totally decked-to-the-halls holiday hotel suite where holiday songs will be playing. ALL. NIGHT. LONG.”

The suite at Chicago’s Fairmont on the Magnificent Mile is decorated from top to bottom in a cascade of red, white and green, complete with a dance floor and DJ Santa Claus overlooking the bed. Just for making the attempt, the lucky guest will get a $1,000 travel stipend, $500 in room service credits, and a wake-up video from Lance Bass.

However, they have to stay in the room for all 24 hours – no matter how hard listening to the music gets – to win the 25 free nights from Hotels.com, valued at up to $250 each. If they can’t make all 24 hours, or are unable to otherwise check in on December 19, 2021, they won’t get the free nights.

To enter the contest, flyers must submit an entry form with their Instagram and Twitter handles, along with a 75-word explanation as to why they should be the one to attempt the challenge. Short videos can also accompany the entry, which will be judged based on creativity and originality, quality and fit to the theme.

I cant stand xmas songs. I know that makes me a gringe, but they are stupid and over played.

The Christmas music wouldn't keep me awake but the creepy DJ Santa watching me would....

As long as they don’t play “Wonderful Christmastime” I could do it.

Piece of cake. Probably less irritating than my regular life. Well, except for the whole waking up to the Lance Bass video thing.

I think my wife would do well there.

Honestly I could probably just tune it out and watch TV and play COD mobile on my phone all day. And while the noise would make it harder to sleep I think once I got tired enough I would be able to sleep for at least a few hours.

All depends on how long they play the music. I've got a lot of books on my kindle.
