I forgot Garza had a 9 pound benign cyst removed from his abdomen a few years ago.

Before his sophomore season I believe. What a scary time for him and his family. Couldn’t be more proud of a Hawkeye in any sport and extremely happy for him and his family. Hopefully he can fulfill his dream in the NBA. Regardless, the kid is going to be a success at anything he does off the b-ball court as well.

 

[Moral]

Watching his interviews, his family's interviews, and seeing the work ethic has been amazing. They are just doing it right, glad they are forever Hawkeyes.
