I guess TLC has fully embraced being the bottom of the TV barrel.

They came out with a show about the girl that [allegedly] has Tourette's, and now they're coming out with this. I guess there's enough of an audience who loves this kind of stuff, but I don't think I know anyone who would watch this.

So Urkel and Gloria from Modern Family got married and shrunk themselves?

They embraced that long ago. They are essentially the TV version of the freak shows of yesteryear.

Which is all fairness does give people who would otherwise be on the margins of society an opportunity to make a good income.

I don't think most folks on TLC shows make very good income. I think on some of the shows it's around $15,000 for a season. Clearly that changes if a show turns into a hit and there's a lot of seasons, but I think it starts off pretty low for TV.

I could also be very wrong. I just remember reading something around the weird TLC shows awhile back and it mentioned that they don't disclose the income publicly, but someone from one of the shows mentioned it was somewhat low.

I would probably check it out if their house and everything in it was built to 1/5 scale

Did not know that.

The no pic wife watches the Tourette's girl show so that means it's on as I scroll HBOT and I halfway pay attention. Her tics start to give me anxiety after about 30 minutes.

I have a nephew with Tourette's and he does not exhibit the same behavior at all. Not only that - with meds he doesn’t present his symptoms at all.
I have only seen two previews of the show - does she take any meds at all?

To help keep the magazine/book store we had going afloat back in '98 we started selling VHS porn tapes.
We could buy a box of 50 random tapes for $198, and started selling them for $39.99.

There was one titled Love is Strange and it had a midget on the cover.
That joker always sold the same day it hit the shelf.
