In simple terms, the key question in any religion is "what do I need to do to get to Heaven?"

Lutherans give a very specific answer to this question. Actually, Fundamentalists will also give you a specific answer.

However, all XL can tell us is that you have to "walk in the light". That's the key. To walk in the light. XL can't tell you exactly what that means, but if you want to know, just watch him, because he's walking in the light. You, however, probably are not, and he is required to let you know exactly what your shortcomings are.

My form is bizarre? You masturbate to another man's wife, a sister in christ, after witnessing her IN church, while you are married, and you brazenly announce that on a message board, and you think you're saved, and MY form of Christianity is bizarre?

And, no, I am under no preacher, let alone a charismatic one.

Take that up with John the Apostle, through the Spirit that's how he described it.

1 John 1:6-7
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;
7 but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Thus, you can go through life harshly criticizing others -- which appears to be the focal point of your version of faith. You have become an expert at using the Law as a tool for criticizing others, while simulataneously ignoring the Gospel completely.
Are you judging my actions, Loogy? Good for you. But start using righteous judgment.

Just because you say it is my focal point, doesn't make it so. My focal point is the glorification of God. Your blatant and arrogant actions so cause the name of My God to be blasphemed I had to say something.

I may be an expert (says you) at pointing out blatant sin like yours, but that would not be because I ignore the Gospel, but because I love it and adhere to it. You should try it.

And there is no assurance of salvation in your faith. Actually, I think this concept has gone completely over your head. I don't think you've ever heard it before.
I have heard all of this before. That's why it was so easy to refute. It's obvious what I've said is completely foreign to you.

You and NPR say what I do causes people to be turned off to Christianity. That doesn't impress me.

A far more dependable witness is the Scripture on this matter. It says hypocrisy such as yours causes God's named to be blasphemed.

Romans 2:21-24 (NASB)
21 you, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that one should not steal, do you steal?
22 You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
23 You who boast in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God?
24 For Òthe name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,Ó just as it is written.

There is assurance of salvation in my faith, but it's only for those who stay faithful until death.

What has truly been established is that you are also a willful and premeditated liar to my question. That's also now on record here.

Maybe that's your shallow key in your religion, but it's not in mine. The key question for me is, "How do I live my life so that my God may be glorified?"

Loogy,

One last word as your spiritual advisor.

Matthew 12:33-37 (NIV)
33 ÒMake a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.
34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.
35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.
36 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.
37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.Ó

XL,

Whoa. I've calmed down now. I really lost it there for a minute, when I was telling you that you worship at the altar of ham-and-eggs. But I'm cool now.

I lost my temper. However, that is actually the first sin that I've committed in almost 3 weeks. I blew a chance to match my own personal record for sin-free living, which is 4 weeks, 3 days, 6 hours, 12 minutes, and 15 seconds. Now I'm starting all over again.

Also, the good news is that I've never actually flipped out on you before, which means that this was not a continuous and willful particular sin. It's just an everyday, ordinary sin -- of the type that even you commit once every couple of weeks or so.

Let's bury the hatchet, XL. Why don't you come over and I'll throw a few steaks on the grill?

Oh, geeeeeez, I forgot! D'oh! Why did I ask you over to EAT? Gawd, I'm soooooo STUPID!!!!!

Since it is only truly a part of the original mocking charade, you are still in continuous willful sin. It's quite a lust you have for this.

Actually, XL, after much thought I have taken your advice:

Do the world a favor and never go in a church building again.

As you can tell, it's Sunday morning, and I'm not in church. I became discouraged by the high requirements for salvation that you have informed me of. In order to gain salvation, I need to have true faith, as witnessed by my lack of sin and my good works. I don't know how much lack of sin and doing of good works is required to show that I have true faith -- I guess none of us really do -- but it must be something quite high, judging by your example. Especially since you have pointed out that you have eliminated all continuous, willful sin -- and you are even capable of going for a whole week at a time with no sin. Soon, if you keep growing in the faith, you may be able to go for a year or more between sins. That's excellent.

As such I have converted to Atheism. But there's some good news in this for me -- you now are no longer able to judge or criticize my actions! No more passing judgment on me with your sanctimonious boasts and your regurgitations of the Law, because I'm not in the church!!! You have admitted as much!!!!:

If he doesn't want to listen then don't give it to him. If he's not a Christian it's not your responsibility to judge, that is, take action on the outsider. Leave him alone and set a good example.

So let me make this official. I am now an Atheist, and I don't want to listen to you! I can insult you with impunity!! How do you like them apples, Fat Boy!!!!!!??????? I think you're a big fat POS!!!! Ha!!!! Ha, Ha, frickin' Ha!!!! There's nuttin' you can do about it!!!!!

In fact, if you retaliate or continue to criticize or judge me, then you are participating in a continuous willfuly sin, which will damn you to Hell!!!! Here's the words of St. Paul himself:

What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church?

So, ha! What business is it of yours to judge me now, Fat Boy! You can't judge me anymore!!! I'm free of your sanctimony. Guess what -- I'm beating off right now! And I'm looking at gay porn! And I'm shooting up heroin!!! Are you gonna judge or criticize me for that???? You better not!!! Ha!!!!!!

And one more thing:

We have to remove all who refuse to give up continous practice of a sin. We have plenty of people in our church and they are not allowed to catch a buzz or be a glutton.

XL, I am concerned that you may actually have some in your church who are involved in the continuous practice of sin. They are committing sins each week that are sufficiently similar to previous sins as to be considered "repeat offenses". And if they would have truly repented, then they would have stopped the sin, which is one of the two requirements for true repentance, as you have pointed out to me. And I think you need to work much harder to root out these people, and keep them out of church, as you have done for me.

For example, I bet their are many overweight people, such as yourself, in your church. They're taking in more calories than their body burns off or needs. And it is harmful to their health. Yet, if they truly repented, they would stop these actions, and those excess pounds would melt off. So obviously they have not repented. I think you need to confront these people more vigorously. In fact, it is sinful that you haven't done so, and I see it as evidence of your lack of faith. It may be the very sin, in fact, that keeps you out of Heaven.

Bah, ha, ha, Fat Boy!!!!!!!!!!!

Regards,

Loog -- happy to finally be free of that sanctimonious moron

One more thing -- now that I'm not in the church anymore, I am going to proudly be a glutton! I am going to feast on anything in front of my face! I'm going to stuff myself until I feel like exploding, and then I'm gonna come on HROT and I'm gonna BRAG about it!!!!!

Foooooooooooooooodddddddd!!!!

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyy fooooooooooddddddd!!!!

And you can't criticize me for it, because not in the church anymore! There's nothing you can say about. Unless you want to engage in a little "continuous willful" sin, that is!!!!

Because .....

If he doesn't want to listen then don't give it to him. If he's not a Christian it's not your responsibility to judge, that is, take action on the outsider. Leave him alone and set a good example. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church?

Why don't you re-read that a few times!!!! Ha!!!

You're screwed!!!!!! I can brag all I want about my flagrant sins and you can't criticize or judge me for it!!!

I'm heading out to get me a hooker right now, big boy! And I'm gonna lube it up and shove it in!!!!!

Understand the word "judge." It's a word for a condemning judgment, not a mere judgment of actions. We can still make a judgment on actions. As the quote says we are not take action on it as removing them from the church. They're not in the church. We are also commanded to give a defense when we are engaged with the unbeliever. Sometimes things, like your little charade, needs some extra exposing.

Ephesians 5:11
11 And do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;

Oh my. Now I see why you think you can go for a week or more without sinning. Isn't it wonderful how we can so loosely and kindly interpret Bible passages that we don't like -- but so strictly and harshly interpret passages that speak to someone else's weaknesses and faults?

What about all of those times where you responded to my criticisms of you by asking me if I was judging you (and underlining it)? So my criticisms were "condemning judgments", yet YOUR criticisms of NPR were simply a "judgment on actions"? Splitting hairs anyone?

St. Paul tells us the following:

What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside.

When you criticize the non-believers on this bb for their sinful actions, you are passing judgment on them. But it is clearly NOT your job to pass judgment on them. They are subject to their own laws -- the laws of the government -- and God will pass judgment on them in the afterworld.

Here's the reality: You like to criticize and taunt NPRLover and other non-believers, all via an anonymous internet BB, because it makes you feel morally superior, and you hope to make them feel inferior. You derive pleasure from it. But it serves no real purpose other than that, because they aren't in the church and they don't believe in your religion.

You are currently engaging in a willful, continuous, particular sin. You are in clear violation of 1 Cor 5:12-13, but you LOVE this sin too much to give it up.

Also, you stated earlier that if a non-Christian doesn't want to listen to your advice, then you should leave him alone. So if you're out on the internet passing judgment on some nonbeliever, such as me or NPR, and they say to you "leave me alone" ... what is the proper response? Do you leave them alone or do you persist in your sinful namecalling and insults. I asked you to leave me alone, yet you responded with a taunting post.

And I am very serious in telling you that my feelings are hurt by your taunting remark regarding the need for me to take medication. This belittling remark was merely intended to hurt my feelings. Even after I told you that I wanted you to leave me alone. You need to repent.

If the people in your church find out what you are doing on this bb, then they need to expel you from the church, if they take their own salvation seriously.

Hey fat boy, it's 1 am and I'm just getting home from a late night of whoring, drugging, and carousing.

Allow me to further debunk your spurious distinction between "condemning judgements" and "judging of actions", which basically amounts to a false splitting of hairs. Under your puritan theological framework, one cannot separate faith from actions. That is, someone who is an antagonist, a mocker, and a hypocrit is not "walking in the light". And, if you're not walking in the light, you're doomed to Hell. You've already pointed these things out to us.

Thus, if you accuse someone of being an antagonist, a mocker, and a hypocrit, then you are, in effect, offering a "condemning judgement". And this is true whether this person is a member of your church or not! But 1 Cor clearly tells you not to pass judgment on nonbelievers. God will judge them. Yet you continue to do it.

Also, why don't you take a look at that hypocritical bracelet on your fat wrist and ask yourself WWJD. If Jesus were here today, would he criticize the actions of non-believers from the safety of an anonymous handle on the internet? Somehow, I doubt if that's WWJD. If you are so convinced of the rightness and purity of your motives, then why hide behind a pseudonym to make your attacks?

Lastly, you have already stated that if a non-believer doesn't want to listen to you, then you should leave him alone. Is that statement still true? Or is another one of your lies that you will soon backtrack on. For instance, if NPRLover tells you "leave me alone, I don't want to listen to you", then are you gonna leave him alone? In any thread on here, if some nonbeliever responds to your "judgments of actions" (or whatever you want to call them) by saying "leave me alone, fat boy", then are you gonna leave them alone? Or are you gonna keep offering various comments regarding their behavior? I suspect that you derive too much pleasure from your condescending judgments to stop, even if asked to stop.

Because if you were forced to leave them alone if they asked to be left alone, then that would kind of take the fun out of your trolling! A rule like that would be kryptonite to any troll -- either of the ecclesiastic or secular variety.

BTW, this does not look like an action that was done in love. You are a mocker.

Actually, you have told us many times that those who do not have "enough" faith, as witnessed by a sufficient amount of good deeds and abstinence from sin, are going to Hell.
That's the apostles' judgments, not mine. I just recognize it.

And this is true whether this person is a member of your church or not! But 1 Cor clearly tells you not to pass judgment on nonbelievers. God will judge them. Yet you continue to do it.
You continue to abuse 1 Corinthians 5. Paul was talking about church discipline. It's not our job to say they need to removed from the church. They're not in the church.

Also, why don't you take a look at that hypocritical bracelet on your fat wrist and ask yourself WWJD. If Jesus were here today, would he criticize the actions of non-believers from the safety of an anonymous handle on the internet? Somehow, I doubt if that's WWJD.
Why would I think you have any earthly idea on what Christ would do? You know just enough of the text to be dangerous.

I have not lied, but you have. You really have no right to even talk as such. That action is pure hypocrisy.

No one is forcing you to go to your computer. I'm not forcing you to open up this thread and read. It's 100% voluntary.

I don't live by your perverted rules. Just because you abuse my advice and twist it doesn't mean I am bound by your poor interpretation.

Says you. You may needs meds. I thought you might appreciate the picture.

I doubt there are enough meds for the true root problem. It's probably just a heart problem. Remember, Loog, the Lord has fully witnessed everything you've typed here. I'm not ashamed about anything I've written. I hope this thread is preserved.

It's never been true the way you've abused and twisted it. I just wanted to reiterate that.

Loogy,

How long will this charade go on? Your feeble attempts to find me violating my own morals will be a futile attempt. Though you keep twisting my words so as to "make me" violate them it's apparent to almost all it's a sham.

Let's get back to the real issue. I think you are a Lutheran and have a perverted view of grace. I believe you think the only way to lose salvation is to for you to quit believing Christ's blood covers those sins. Let's deal with this doctrine of yours.

Go ahead and let's see some Scriptural justification for this notion of yours. Leave this immature child-like ramblings and let's get back to the issue.

Isn't it sad? You believe you can get by with anything so you basically do about anything. Look at the start of this thread. Look at the countless lies and horrific insulting you've done. If you only believed Christians must act like Christians then none of this would have occurred. What a damaging and shameful doctrine you hold to.

Romans 6:1-2
1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace might increase?
2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

I'm still curious as to why you need to hide behind an anonymous screen name in order to point out all the sinful behavior of the nonbelievers on HROT. So Ephesians 5:11 is telling you to go criticize the sinful actions of both believers and nonbelievers, but are you supposed to do that while hiding behind an anon screen name? When Jesus cleared the temple, was he wearing a mask and disguise so no one would know who he was?

You're sort of the Fred Phelps of HROT. Except Phelps actually has the guts to show his face while he's insulting all the gays and other sinners. But you're schtick is cool. Makes for some good trolling.

Anyhoo, it's been fun but I'm off to troll in greener pastures.

But, in closing, let me just say that you have been trapped in many lies and mis-statements, and you are fat. And I'm not going to open this thread again, so NaNa NaNa boo boo. You're going to Hell for these continuous willful sins!

Reg's,

Loog

Still changing the topic? Won't deal with your false doctrine? Now it's on to my status as being anonymous?

Do you want to meet face to face, Loog? You may want to wear a diaper.

Well, at least you admitted that it is you who is the troll on here.

Reg's,

Loog
I have been consistent with the doctrine of the Bible. I have been caught in nothing. The only one falling into a trap is you, and it was your own. I don't care about trapping you. I was trying to help and to defend the truth.

Perhaps you will open this since it is now a Lengendary Thread. Maybe we can get back on the issue, that is, your imaginary doctrine that grace covers you while you sin like you do.

I again would like to say that we need to look at the fruit of your doctrine. Since you believe what you do it has lead to so much unnecessary and nasty sin. You wouldn't have masturbated (allegedly) to another man's wife after going to church. You wouldn't have bragged about it on a message board. You would haven't participated in all of these lies, deceptions, and sinful mockings you have done towards me. If you were just a man of integrity a lot of this shame never would have been revealed. But now it's a Legendary Thread and will be preserved. The sad part is that it's preserved somewhere that is far more important, in the mind of God.

1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace might increase?

Loog, why did you put yourself in this ridiculous situation? You have really brought yourself to an all time low.

At this point, you can't really say anything without being completely hypocritical. Nice one....
