He may never be the shooter Jok is but I like the way he attacks on offense and hustled on defense. He gets out of control and out of position at times but I liked the effort and am looking forward as he replaces PJ full time next season, but a few other's I hope have something to say about that, ie Dailey, Williams, Conner Mac,

He's a redshirt freshmen...he's very athletic and his shooting stroke is very good. No reason he won't become a valued player next year and beyond.....love his game

I was thinking Indiana's decisive 10-0 run in 1 minute, 29 seconds came right about when Fran took him out in the second half. He had Blackman contained but he went crazy in that stretch. Moss is the best on ball defender on the team.

Moss has a lot of facets to his game. Just needs a little more consistency with the jumper.

Fran stuck with Moss today like many people wanted to see...but man we really saw why Fran pulls him out for stretches

He is one of the best finishers in transition that Fran has had. Now if he would just attack the basket the same way in the half court, tonight we saw a bit of that but he needs to do it even more.

Moss sometimes hesitates before he shoots, which usually doesn't lead to a consistent stroke. I think that will improve, and he should get a lot better as he gains confidence.

Moss is my favorite Hawkeye since the '80s when Iowa had a stable of great athletes. The last Iowa team to make a Final 4 featured 4 Chicago area players in the starting line-up. If Moss has great success at Iowa, I am hoping we can start getting more great Chicago athletes again like we used to.

I hope he becomes more aggressive next year. I think he is the only guard with the ability to attack the paint. His outside game will continue to improve and I think if he works hard in the off-season will be one of Iowa breakout players next year. He has the tools, now he just needs to fine tune them.

I think he will be able to replace the Jok scoring for the most part.

And hopefully defense. And we know he can replace Jok in effort

Moss is getting better. Just needs more confidence. Seems like a really nice kid. I agree his role will get bigger next year.

If he learns to attack the basket in 1/2 court and shoots 3ball and defends, then he can leave early for NBA. I think he has most potential on team and we saw glimpses when he got hot at Nebraska and Minny. Obviously he also was prone to missing shots and not taking care of the ball, which resulted in quick hook from Fran.

Again he is a freshman. Freshman are the most inconsistent players in the game. They have some "great" games and then they follow them up with "WTF" type of games.

This group played beyond their years and I think if they all work at it, will be one of the best classes to come through Iowa. There is a lot to work with, now its just putting in the time in the off season. Look at Swanigan at PU, work hard and it shows this year.

Next year we will go as Moss goes. If he makes the next step and becomes a go-to player, we will do really, really well. If he doesn't, we will struggle.

He makes freshmen mistakes but make no mistake, he is going to get better and better and be one of our best players. Dude passes the eye test when he's attacking.

Just talked to a Michigan fan who hasn't watched much (any?) Iowa basketball this year. She commented on two players positively: Bohannon and Moss. Given what we know about Cook and Pemsl, I would say we've got a great core for the next 3 years.

I'm really curious how next year will go for Bohannon, as he'll be tabbed as a 40% shooter that you can't leave. If he can find a way to shoot 38%+ and hit 75 3 pointers again, I'll be extremely happy. He'll be a really good pairing with Moss if Isaiah gets more consistent about attacking off the dribble in the half court. Run a high pick and roll for Moss with Bohannon waiting on the wing to draw any help away...

You have to remember, prior to season, many thought Moss would transfer. Now fast forward:

-Basically the 2G spot is his to lose
-He appears to have a very high ceiling - defense, athleticism and shooting mechanics
-He MUST improve his passing game and reduce his turnovers
-He MUST increase his shooting percentage, which could be fueled by a better mix of drives/outside shots
-Adding more drives should allow him to get to the stripe for some easy points
-Ideally, would like to see improvement in his ball handling and look to be a solid defensive rebounder

Agree, I think he makes a big leap next year. He's going to get more minutes almost by default and not having to worry about sitting out for 10+ minutes at a time should help him. He's shown flashes of a really well rounded offensive game, he can shoot, he can drive, he's a good athlete. I can definitely see him being a 10-13 ppg guy next year. His development is going to be a big key to Iowa's success going forward.

I think this will come, he's one of those guys where I think the game looks really fast to him. He sees the open guy a lot but he's late often. This isn't surprising considering it's his first year playing B10 basketball and I think he will really improve as the game slows down for him.

If he puts up shots in the off season, he is going to be a better 3 point shooter.

Over time I think he will be good at coming off screens, too.

I just don't think he had to do much of either when in high school
