I was thinking about this whole NK/SK thing

China likes them as a buffer, which I understand. An argument made is that they couldn't, or don't want to, handle the refugees. Why not let them live in those empty cities they've built? Assuming of course they would go that way, as opposed to the South. I would presume that China would want access to all the heavy metals in NK.

Again, the issue is what country is going to want 25 million, poor, brainwashed people? I mean could you imagine the reaction if a NK person say Seoul tomorrow? They'd freak out.

The only solution is for China to get rid of Kim Jong fat (or whomever) and to prop up a leader that over a decade or two slowly introduces things like McDonalds and you know feeding the people and Sony as you transition into a Chinese form of Communism government.
