On the crutch think I agree with the above and also spent about a year of my life on crutches. When in military hospital I requested the aluminum kind that clamps around your forearms. Still have a set of them in my closet used this year after foot surgery. Plus I think there are lot my choices in crutches these days.I have no idea about another surgery for him, but the raw armpits from crutches is not true, if you are sized correctly and use them correctly (using your hands to do the work). I say that as someone who has spent cumulatively about a year of my life using crutches.
If not why pull out then? He is playing fine.
Playing on borrowed time. Sit out and get everything fixed with hopefully a pain free year next season. If not why pull out then? He is playing fine.
Plus, IF we get Garza, Weiskamp, and Nunge with a healthy JayBo? Then another year maturity from C.J. , Connor and Toussant. A healthy Patrick and Cordell - we could have heck of a season.
Because the pain is enough that he isn’t practicing at all. It’ll get worse as they head through the B1G season. If not why pull out then? He is playing fine.
Hip surgeries are extensive and painful. His arm pits will be raw from months of using crutches. He will be able to mentor and help coach. Personally I would bite the bullet to play on the court as a Hawk. That is the X generation in me talking tho as we limp around thinking about the girl mistakes we made and letting them drive away with our money!
