Empathy is maybe the most important trait guiding someone's thoughts and actions. If you are lacking it, you are not fit to lead.
Stuff like this is why Lindsey Graham talks about what a decent, likable man Joe Biden is.

My grandpa was a WWII POW and trump strongly implied that he and other POWs were not heroes.
