Ian Miller

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere on here, but in the Ian Miller interview on Flo it was mentioned that while Ian was figuring out what he was going to do next he spoke with Tom, Terry and Morningstar about joining the HWC. He said he's too banged up and doesn't want to risk any more concussions so he's moving on to coaching and heading to Oregon St. Gotta give the HWC credit for looking outside the Iowa program to bring in some pretty good names as of late. Ian Miller would be fun to watch in freestyle after spending time in the HWC, but can't blame him for moving on to coaching. Just thought this deserved it's own thread as the HWC is/was actively looking to bring in more guys.

The Bad: we didn't reel in Ian Miller
The Good: We tried to get Ian Miller to HWC. Would have been a big pick up, but Oregon St will benefit. Good for them and Ian.

I thought MMA might be in his future considering it looked like he could take a pretty good punch judging from the ISU match.

IMO his match vs. IMAR in the semis was the best match of the year.
