Was looking forward to grabbing the famous ice cream of Carver Hawkeye Arena but I swear the line seemingly had 100 people. I wasn't about to wait 20 minutes during the game, out of my seats. Is the secret just arriving 15-20 minutes before tip or was the incredibly outrageous line just an anomaly? You think with the popularity they would open another stand or two

I have seen lines that had to be way over 50 people at wrestling meets where Carver was only 50% full...so I can believe 100+ people in line at a BB game.

Hello...University of Iowa concessions staff...how about a few more ice cream machines? OR let a local ice cream business come in and sell too. Win, win.

So, maybe that is why it always looks so empty. The fans like the ice cream more than the team.

We went to the game the night before thanksgiving and the line was 20 deep on each side with a minute to go in the game.

Pretty sure it comes out of a carton, like pretty much every other soft serve in the universe, but I haven't seen what Xanadu additive they put in there to make it what it is.

Most soft serve either comes in a carton or a bag. Poured into the top of the machine, chilling chamber, blades to scrape the chamber and dispenses soft serve. My guess is that it’s soft serve rather than ice cream.

Wasn't there a internatipnal wrestling event at CHA a few tests back? Team from Japan was crazy about the ice cream from CHA.

Yes, to visit your Mom, if you know what I mean. And by the way, Casey’s is the fifth largest pizza distributor in the country behind Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa John’s, and Godfathers so suck it or meet at fight bar.
