I've seen reports but not seen it personally.
I picked one pack up the other day with the expectation that people are going to panic buy it and we may not have it for a while.
In the end it's silly because I think most TP is produced and sourced in North America.

Yeah last night the wife asked me to pick up some TP today as we are out.. Look at the interwebs this morning and see everyone is buying it up. Stopped at Costco in Des Moines this afternoon and it's all gone.
I bought some wet wipes instead. Then went to Lowes to get some paint and they had it there. With a 2 item limit.

CSB...I just got home from going out to dinner with my wife and we happened to drive close enough to a Costco that I was reminded that people are hoarding TP now and I told her about that as a result of the longshoreman strike, etc. Her reply..."Isn't TP made in America?". Me - "Yes, well at least 90%+ of it, that is.". Her - "So why are people hoarding it?". Me - "People.".
During the Covid TP freakout I was at the store and saw all these people with carts piled high with TP. The kid at checkout said, "Wow. You're the only person I've seen not buying toilet paper." I said, "Well, I've got a few rolls at home and if I run out, I'm a country boy. I can use my imagination."
People are so stupid anymore. I never understood the hoarding of toilet paper being the first thing people think about when it comes to shortages.
