The interstate near us is recently having construction to update several 40 year old bridges. It will take several years for completion of this needed upgrade.
Big signage tells drivers to avoid our county road, as it has several switchbacks that semi trucks can not handle.
Waze and other software is sending big traffic onto our narrow, twisting, undersized road. Tonight, at least ten mutha flippin big rigs have totally blocked our road, with one requiring a massive wrecker to pull his ass up from a ravine. The other clowns are having to back up over a half mile to a turnaround point.

Highway patrol should be wracking up the revenue tonight. Ticket those clowns. They drove past the signs while looking at their phones.

If there is one thing I've learned about Waze it is to NEVER take its recommendations about detours seriously.

We were hired to unload a swimming pool over the summer near Lake Iowa. The pick was scheduled for 11 am so I headed out and we got the 50 ton crane set and we awaiting the arrival of the 16 x 42 foot fiberglass pool. Around noon we thought the pool crew had decided to go to lunch or something cause their pickup had left. As it turned out the old guy bringing the pool had his GPS send him down a level B clay road and of course we had about 3/4 of an inch of rain the previous night. The guy got a couple hundred feet down the road before he realized he screwed up. The pool boys had to crawl their excavator 3 and a half miles and pull the clown on through the mud road as there was no way to pull him backwards. We finally finished about 6 pm and the bill was over 1,500 dollars most attributed to the old truck driver. Kind of felt sorry for him...

Never underestimate how stupid truck drivers can be.
