If Iowa Wins The B1G This Year, Does Kirk Retire?

Says the guy asking if a perfectly healthy and successful coach of “his team” will retire. You’re trying to stir the pot, it’s all you do.

Think about how long old some other great coaches coached until - Paterno, Snyder, Osborne, Bear Bryant, Bowden, the list goes on,

There’s nothing to talk about until there is.

His posing the question to start this thread is "stirring the pot"? C'mon, you really that sensitive? A question like this really bother you that much? It's a freaking message board where people pay $0 to post on the football forum.

Bob Stoops was perfectly healthy and he walked away at 58 years old. The list can go on from there.

I think people are paranoid that talk of Kirk retiring on... a message board will somehow have influence on recruiting haha.

But is the paid message board really that much better?

No, paid or free message board, it's cheap entertainment for all of us anonymous fans so it doesn't really matter.

If some fan here is all worried and concerned that anyone starting a thread asking if Kirk could retire after this year if Iowa would win it all has them that worried or paranoid, then shame on those people for being that sensitive and worked up. It's laughable the more you think of it in fact.

Do these sensitive fans not think that opposing coaches in recruiting are not bringing this up all the time to recruits when their school is competing with Iowa for a kid? They think a message board is going to to cause more concern. Again, laughable.

They can go 10-2, 11-1, 12-0 then win the title game and it can be win, lose, or draw in the Rose or CFP. Would Kirk retire?

I am not saying that’s what I want, but a part of me has always thought Kirk is holding out to win one more conference title.
