I'm 45 and grew up watching Jordan and the Bulls. There's no question MJ is one of the all-time greats, but it's pretty hard to argue against what LeBron has accomplished and what he has meant to his teams. When he left Cleveland after the 2010 season, the Cavs went from the best team in the East to one of the worst. Four straight Eastern Conference titles with Miami, including back-to-back NBA titles. When he went back to Cleveland the two teams reversed fortunes. Now Cleveland is the best team in the East and Miami went from the finals to DNQ.
When Jordan took a year off to play minor league baseball, the Bulls plugged in Pete Myers and Toni Kukoc and still earned the #3 seed in the East and swept Cleveland in the first round of the playoffs before losing a memorable, hard-fought 7 game series to Patrick Ewing and the Knicks in round two.
