Our only road to the Rose Bowl is a loss at Nebraska next week correct? (Assuming MSU would beat Penn State next week)

Find a scenario where Iowa goes to the Rose if that happens? I mean obviously I am all in on playoff but if that were to happen?!
If we lose to Nebraska and MSU, OSU or Michigan probably goes to the Rose.
Yeah if MSU wins this game I think Rose is out for Iowa as a backup bowl if we lose the B1G Championship game. It'd be safe to assume no Rose Bowl this year.
jeeeez come on people.. Obviously I'm all playoff but I have ZERO impact on the outcome of the games.. just running scenarios!
we could get shut out of the playoff, msu could make the playoff there is two off the top of my head.
If we beat Nebraska and lose to MSU and Muchigan beats OSU we still go to the rose bowl. MSU wins makes things a lot more complicated. If we win out it is still not complicated.

MSU just won, so I guess if we lose to Nebraska and beat MSU (the likely team) we will be in the rose bowl. BUT why don't we just beat them both and go to the play-offs. Very doable.

MSU will skyrocket. 11-1 Sparty against undefeated Iowa for the B1G title. Iowa will be 3rd or 4th, MSU will be 5th or 6th. Pretty much guarantees an undefeated B1G team is in, and Sparty is VERY beatable. Gotta get by the Children of the Corn first.
If MSU wins the Big Ten title by beating an undefeated or one-loss Iowa team, they absolutely could be in the playoff.
But Herbstreit thinks a one loss Iowa should get bowl game in Detroit. That guy is all Douche.
