I was just wasting my day, and found it interesting that if we just had a top-half of FBS rushing attack [roughly 170 yards per game each year], how good would Iowa be?

Here are a few numbers Looking back over KF's tenure when we rushed for 170 yards [rushing range of 130-240 yards gave me an avg of 176/game looking back on Iowa's games]:
  • Iowa is 95-26 SU
    • nearly 10 seasons worth
    • we would average 9.5-2.5 record
  • Iowa averages 31 points per game
  • Iowa gives up 18 points per game
  • Iowa averages 211 yards passing
  • Iowa's average completion Percentage: 61% [17/28]
Years we averaged 170 yards per game:
  • 2020 - 10 wins [6-2 paced for a normal year with non-con]
  • 2016 - 8 wins
  • 2015 - 12 wins
  • 2013 - 8 wins
  • 2008 - 9 wins
  • 2005 - 7 wins
  • 2003 - 10 wins
  • 2002 - 11 wins
  • 2001 - 7 wins
I don't even want a top half offense, I just want a top half rushing attack.
