If you guys watched the Aaron Hernandez docuseries on hulu

There's a mention of Iowa and Kirk . Aaron's brother is trying to get a coaching job he mentions Iowa but he says KF needs to put it on hold while his brother works out the legal crap. Also I thought the guy playing Bill belichick did a pretty good job also the guy playing Urban Meyer.

I am assuming the Iowa stuff is made up for the movie but maybe some of you guys know if he really was fixing to go to Iowa City. I highly doubt it cuz he said he was going to be tight ends coach.

Thanks for that. Part of me was saying it could be just made up but also part of me was saying it could be true because the Bill belichick and Patriots connection to KF. And BF. I tried to look it up but I kept finding articles about DJ being in trouble... Going to jail or something so I figured he probably didn't have much of a coaching career. Also 2014 was a strange year for me as that is when my mom died and we had to go to Ottumwa with the funeral and everything.

I was pretty much distracted back in 2014 and I don't even remember half of this Aaron Hernandez stuff although it was all over the news.

Didn’t watch the show. But I know that DJ is a sad story. A lot of potential in his future with coaching, but it all went downhill for him. I don’t know enough to say if it was his own doing or if it started when the crap with his brother started.

In the movie it makes him out to be the first star... The older son he was a quarterback and went to UConn like his dad and they wanted Aaron to go to UConn as well. But the older brother never made it big in the NFL like he was supposed to and they made it look like he was extremely jealous of his younger brother. Which is probably true.

It is a really good movie series and I'm a fan of Bill belichick even though he's strange. I used to be a big fan of Brady. I think if you're a football fan it's worth the watch. Lots of sex scenes though so probably not safe for family viewing.

I watched it a few months ago. Really good !! Kid had a messed up family growing up. Kids who grow up in a crappy home can still turn into crappy adults no matter how much success they have in their middle years !! Crappy dad...crappy mom...kid was fighting an uphill battle the whole way. Then the whole cte kicks in after playing football for numerous years....sad story....
