I have no faith that Fran is going to pick up anyone in the portal. I'm guessing he's going to roll with the roster he has.
Averages more TOs than assists. He'll fit right in.

I love Illinois. They were far and away the biggest embarrassment in the tournament and took the eyes off all of the other under achievers. Thank you, Illini!

You’re welcome! Not sure how you could think next year’s Hawks team is at a point where you could laugh at Illinois’ spot on the pecking order, but it’s Saturday and maybe you’re also day drinking. Good luck with the portal, shouldn’t be hard to get a way better pickup than our scrub!
Sorry you missed the point of the OP, but it wasn't a dick measuring contest about who will be better next year - the thread was about a mediocre transfer.
Last year you won in Champaign and in the B1G tournament. Both were close games, both with no CJ or injured CJ, but yes, you got us. It's not as if IL rolled over IA. Both were decent games.
Next year is next year. Let's see what you roll into CHA with before you start bragging.
Plummer averaged 14 in the Pac12. 96th percentile in catch and shoot. 56% on open threes. 76th percentile defensively. 7th best in Pac12 in fewest turnovers. Set a Pac12 record for most threes in a game. 11 threes against Oregon State. He is from Puerto Rico and wanted to play with Curbelo. Good pickup for off the bench.

Kofi will enter the draft and go through evaluations. I think he really wants to go pro but right now he doesn’t appear on many draft boards. Won’t know about him until summer.

I honestly don’t think you guys could have realistically landed anyone better in the portal to replace the Miller loss than Miller himself, and this kid is a better shooter than Miller.

Likely at or nearing the point where Fran scraps the pursuit of a 5 and goes after the best scorer he can find regardless of position. Not sure any big in the portal that Fran has any chance to land is going to be an appreciable upgrade from whatever combo of Josh, Mulvey, Kris / Keegan Murray. If JW leaves, the only proven returning scorers are CJ (nagging foot/ leg injury) and Keegan. If Fran goes 0-portal, I think the likelihood of a Jbo return increases dramatically.
