That is surprising. Will hurt them significantly. He was very good shooter and a great defender.

Like others, I was impressed by Miller and thought Illannoy would have a great backcourt next year.

not sure, a real head scratcher for sure - I will see if I can get a little more info. Although I am sure something will leak out soon....if I had to guess, Adam/Mom did not care for Underwood. I could see him landing at 'Zona, doubt he stays in the BT. (pure speculation on my part though)
I'd be happy seeing Curbelo in the transfer portal as well! Can't stand that little rat faced bastage, but he has talent. Would not break my heart to see him leave the B1G

Griffin who transferred to Syracuse from Illinois last year was an attitude problem from what I understand. And he did get suspended for stomping on that kids chest. smh. I’ve never heard anything like that about Miller.

unfortunately he has Lesters talent and Moes attitude , we would all love him if he was in black and gold
Sucks that he plays for Illinois but he is very fun to watch.
I bet he wants to play PG and Curbelo (one of the most annoying players in CBB) will be the point for then next year. Either way, Illinois will be losing a lot.
Mom thought Adam should be the #2 option on offense, was jealous of Ayo's success, thought Adam should be a point guard, pain in the butt complaining to BU. The last straw was when Ayo's family got 11 tickets to the NCAA tourney and she got 3. They gave tickets that some players couldn't use to upperclassmen (Georgi's family for example lives in Europe, so he couldn't use his).
If this is true, please keep the Miller family out of Iowa City. I have no problem with parents of upperclassmen getting more tickets to tournament games than underclassmen.
Unreal, thanks that for the info - they will definitely take a big hit if Ayo and Kofi are gone as well which is expected. Illini definitely have a monopoly on Peoria - wish we could tap that well once in awhile...I think Acie ‘the Duke’ Earl was our last get...
Acie was from the Quad Cities (Moline to be precise).
Frankly, I wish our coaching staff could talk the talent Illinois has been getting into coming to Iowa City.

Curbello is from NY. Miller spent 3 years in Peoria and played his last year of HS in Chicago.
Here are the facts about Adam Miller. He was born in
Peoria and played his freshman year at Manual High School
in Peoria. He then transferred to Morgan Park High School
because his mother got a new job in that area. So his final
three years of basketball were played at Morgan Park.
Bottom Line: Wherever Adam Miller plays next year, his
mother will be expecting a new job in that metro area.
