Illinois Next Week, Then the Bye

Hopefully we take care of business next week against Illinois. Always good to have a win going into the bye week. Northwestern after, getting Butler back (probably), Snyder (probably, if not at Illinois, but I hope they hold him out until after the bye), and Rugamba to go along side Josh Jackson. Setting up pretty nicely.

I am ready for the bye week. This team needs to regroup. That was a boring game, Nothing to get excited for... their O picked us apart like the kitties do to us. Would think a scrambling qb would be something to account for....

Iowa almost always starts slow, non conference, B1G. They'll get it turned around and win a game they shouldn't, finish with a winning record, go to a bowl , and fans will moan and complain. Just how Iowa football goes. As stated, Illinois game, and bye week are coming at a good time. Lotta tough games after that.

It was like almost every game against MSU everytime we play. Other then their 6'4" WR and a couple of runs by the QB how did their O pick us apart exactly? They started in side our half of the field on almost EVERY time they had the ball in the first half, and didn't score in the second.

Although the bye comes at a good time this year to get some guys back it seems like we usually play like total crap coming off the bye week. I'm too lazy to look at KFs record after a bye but it cannot be good.
