IIRC, IMar did an interview 2 years ago and mentioned how much of a jump his interest in -- and dedication to -- the sport took once he got into the college room. I suspect his background differs from Hall's to some degree, but the record does support his claim about what he's "always said". Doesn't necessarily apply to everyone, of course, as one true freshman did look more prepared tonight than another.

How can you not like Imar? The dude lost his dad at an extremely young age. That would have such a huge impact on anyone. Yet he continues to lace up the shoes and continue the grind. Wrestling is such a tough individual sport, and he does it at an amazingly high level, without his greatest fan/supporter.

My son was at a camp he did and he was very personable, The camp was excellent and he is a good ambassador for the sport. He is also quick as a cat.
