Jesup native Brian Sadler, who could play offensive or defensive line in college, has accepted a walk-on opportunity with the Iowa Hawkeyes. The 6-foot-2, 280-pound Sadler made several visits to Iowa City during the recruiting process and felt comfortable trusting his future in the Iowa coaching staff.
"Ever since my first visit to Iowa City, it felt like home," said Sadler. "As soon as they offered me a spot on the team, I knew that it was the place I needed to be."
A top ranked wrestler in Class 1A at heavyweight, Sadler considered opportunities in both sports with suitors that included Upper Iowa, Central, and Luther, among others.
