How do you not call a foul when the defender is purposely trying to foul?

Humans miss things.
No chance.
Not acceptable.
The refs already knew they were purposely fouling.
How can you not have eyes on the guy with the ball.

You're right.

The two options are incompetence or cheating.
Incompetence.
B1G Ten officiating is horrible.
I'm leaning incompetence with a slight pro Izzo bent.
I thought it was out on Michigan but wasn't sure. The replays that were shown really didn't show enough to overturn. All I could think of is the officials had another view that we didn't see. If not, then they cheated. Not to mention the possession over turned on the possession before. The MSU player clearly slapped the ball out of the Michigan player's possession out of bounds. Ref called it as such. Somehow they overruled it.

One of them has Napoleonism......Two reasons:
1) Larry Scirotto
2) Bo Boroski
Seriously tho, it's a disease they have..maybe a syndrome...not a disease I guess..
Throw in the "McJunkins Spirit" and you probably have something from Amityville.Seriously tho, it's a disease they have..maybe a syndrome...not a disease I guess..
Lol...

You've gotta know how to work the officials.
I saw that and was surprised. It looked like Boroski came back after the review and signaled a jump ball. I rwd it and couldn’t definitively see the poss arrow at the scores table, but it did look like there was an arrow facing MSU near their bench.

Izzo came up with Jud. Everybody loved Jud. Everybody. So Izzo had that going for him. Then Izzo built his program as he did. His program and its success makes him powerful. Izzo, Coach K—never mind their conferences—these guys are key assets of the NCAA brand. That carries weight. Officials are human. But as a fan of an opposing team, it's tough to watch. And I love Izzo. Just wish refs were less subjective, less "workable".And there are very few who do it better than Izzo and even less who do it worse than Fran.
The thing is, Izzo is allowed to work the officials and other coaches are not. Fran would get tossed if he did half the stuff Izzo does every game. You've gotta know how to work the officials.
Unfortunately, college refs are so incompetent that I'm sure they had no clue of the situation and what Mich St was trying to do there. They love blowing their whistles whenever possible, yet they don't when a team is giving a foul. Difficult to comprehend.
Refs don’t determine the outcome of games. Remember that.
