Inside Of Two Minutes A Fumble Can't Be Advanced In The NFL

Am I missing something on this rule? I would be supportive of the offense never being allowed to advance a fumble ever (regardless of forward/backward/time). I missed everything from the last 5 minutes of the first half but the last drive for a FG. What happened?

Pretty sure it’s just the offense (aside from fumbler) that can’t advance the football on a fumble inside 2 minutes. Then again I didn’t think Matthews tackle was “illegal”.

Ken Stabler was a cool muthafukkah! When I was a kid, in grade school, my grandmother gave me my first real Wilson football and "Ken Stabler" was the autograph on the ball.

Even though I was, and still am, a life-long Redskins fan, I always loved to watch the Raiders when I was a kid because of that football.
