I am optimistic about next year's team. I think they take a step up in overall athleticism. However, my one concern is regarding their inside game next year. I know Woodbury wasn't a world beater offensive player. But, he was a 7'1" body that did a lot of other things inside. The tallest player it looks like Iowa has next year is a couple players (including Cook) at 6'8". Am I missing something regarding their roster? Does Fran have a lead on a 6'10" or taller JUCO?

Hate to say it, but most teams have players that are 6-8 to 6-10 on their rosters. If they are athletic, they will be able to alter more shots than what Woody was ever able to do. Woody was a gamer on the boards, but he rarely altered a shot.
I think their post game will look different next year. I am hoping Fran works with someone on some low post moves. It seemed like Iowa relied on Woody to shoot jump shots this year. I rarely remember seeing him back someone down and shoot a hook shot or go up strong on the block. I don't know if that was by design, but against Temple we had an advantage in the post and did nothing to exploit it.
