Interesting Purdue Game Notes

I believe A J Hammons did not start the game but came off the bench in both halves. Does anyone know, if that is the norm for Purdue?

Gesell had 7 rebounds to go with 7 assists.
Uhl seemed like he played good and really contributed yet he had 0 rebounds.
Clemmons 4 steals.
Uthoff 5 blocks.
Baer 2 blocks.

Dom didn't get credited with any boards but watching the replay he kept some plays alive and tipped some balls to teammates.

Yes, Hammons has been coming off the bench since last year.

Yeah Hammons and Haas split time, like they always do. Both big guys for Purdue were basically unstoppable. Difference was Purdue stopped throwing them the ball in the second half. The press forced Purdue to take time off the clock (when they didn't turn it over) and Purdue kept shooting guarded 3's over going inside.

Great team effort by Iowa. Everyone contributed in second half after no one (outside of Uthoff) did in the first half.
