The only way for me to watch or listen to the Hawks is through the internet, on my computer. In the past I've used All-Access to listen to the action (and will do that again this year). However, actually watching the matches is a different story - the challenge is finding live video streaming.

I researched BTN for this, but for people like me who only have computer access, not cable TV, be aware that it's of little value. I just looked at the BTN schedule --- the Midlands, Big Ten tourney, and duals against PSU, Ohio St., Okla. St, Minnesota and Michigan are only televised (TV), not available through BTN's internet service. A double whammy for me is that, if I sign up for BTN Plus to watch the lesser duals (Purdue, Mich. St., Wisconsin, etc.), since I travel a lot overseas, I'll have to buy the domestic BTN for when I'm in U.S. and a separate BTN International when I'm overseas - I can't "convert" the subscription, so they get me coming and going.

As you guys already know, it's ridiculous that the premier college wrestling program is marginalized by their athletic conference! So, as always, I will go to NCAAs having watched only a few matches, so I'm limited on my understanding of how each guy wrestles - I get much of my knowledge through this board. If anyone knows any other live streaming possibilities, let me know (I have no issue with paying for it - that's expected).

Just got a response from BTN re: a question I asked them.

"The duals and the tournaments are sometimes broadcasted by schools like Iowa, but I can't guarantee that they will be. All the home events will for sure be streamed by the Iowa site though."

I just checked the Iowa site and there's only an option to listen, no video streaming, for the Purdue dual this Sunday.

Hold on. I might be wrong but I'm 95% sure a BTN Plus subscription gives you access to BTN2Go programming which is the online version of the television feed.

There is no separate Iowa video streaming service. It is all through the BTN/BTN Plus. The Iowa/Purdue dual is on BTN Plus so there is no "link" to put on the Iowa site.

Every Iowa home meet, every away conference meet, the Midlands and the Big 10s are available online. That wouldn't happen if there were no BTN so I'm not sure how the BTN is holding the program back.

I stand corrected on the above. A BTN Plus sub does NOT give access to BTN2Go. You were right.

There currently is no way to watch BTN without a tv subscription. Once there was a WiZiWiG forums out of Spain. It went under and was then resurrected under a different name, but alas that has also went down. There are some repositories in Kodi that claim to offer BTN, but I've never be able to get them to work. So for us cable cutters it's like the old days where you had to stand by your mailbox waiting for the monthly Amateur Wrestling News to arrive.

I remember those days, not that long ago.i remember our local newspaper would have rankings twice a month and only the top six guys at each weight.

If you have good, consistent internet speeds get a Roku. Borrow a family members directv (or any tv programming provider) login and password, add BTN Plus, add Flo channel and subscription to your Roku, and you'll have access to a ton of wrestling. I cut the cord a long time ago and actually watch more tv than I ever did before when I was paying 4 times the amount.

Roku has a ton of channels you can add. Some you can watch live but others you just need to wait until the next day. If you can't wait, Directv has an app you can watch live tv on your phone. Mirror your phone through the Roku and you've got live hdtv. The key is getting someone's login to a subscriber.

If the wrestling is not available through any of those avenues, then of course you can watch it sometimes through the host school for a fee.

I'm just extremely disappointed that there appears to be no way for me to watch (via internet streaming) the duals against PSU, Ohio St. and Okla. St. (maybe the Okla. St. dual will be video streamed through their website....I hope)

I believe Flo is streaming Okie St home duals. Don't hold me to it but thought I saw that recently.

For $9.95/month you can watch all Hawkeye sports on BTN Plus (streamed). Or, for $14.95 you can watch all B1G sports.

If it is being broadcast on the BTN (tv) he doesn't have access. It requires a tv subscription package (cable/satellite) that he doesn't have. Plus only gives access to events not brodcast on BTN (tv).

I didn't think the BTN allowed streaming of any duals involving B1G teams outside of BTN2GO/PLUS but I now remember watching an Illinois dual on Illinois' website last season. So I guess there is a chance to catch a school webstite's stream

Yes, I remember as well. Didn't have scores or anything but could watch the meet.

You need a friend or family in Iowa with the big ten network on their cable/satellite network. Add a sling box to their network(on sale at Amazon) where you can watch all tv wrestling broadcasts on your computer. Next use their password to get BTN etc for all the streaming oh meets. Sling box costs under $100 currently.

Why does Roku add that I can't get just by subscribing to FLO and BTN+ and then HDMI streaming it to my big screen?
