I say either Payton or someone not on the roster yet.

Not sure if any of the frosh will be starters initially next year, but it appears Owens has the best shot. It will still take a couple years to acclimate himself to playing in the B1G and also building up necessary strength. He could be the next "All B1G" player if Payton doesn't take his game to the next level and beyond being a long range bomber.

Regarding either Patrick or Perkins ...both are far too inconsistent and I'm afraid that's just who they are.

Curious that the link is to Apple News then redirects to BHGP. Or is Apple the parent company of SBNation?
I really don’t know. I subscribe to Apple News, which compiles and gives you access to certain articles from different news sources.

I am so confused. What part of Sandforts game leads you to believe he would be all conference? He's a VERY solid role player.
Kofi cockburn was first team and all he did was throw shoulders and miss free throws. (Simplifying for the sake of making a bad argument)

Perkins has made big strides every year so far and I think he has it in him to make a huge stride next year.
Well, not wanting to argue or sh*t on your opinion as is very popular here - but did he? He was very solid in the last 3rd of the season last year and has been a little up and down this year. And his "Per 40 min" stats look like a mirror image compared to last year

I love Perk, but I didn't see the big stride you saw,

Couple of games here and there. Unfortunately it's almost feast or famine. Either he plays at an All B1G level or late in the game, your asking yourself, "where was Perkins tonight".....

I agree in Pmac and Perkins unless he really buckles down. I assume your talking about OWEN Freeman?

Ok, I didn't vote for anyone listed, but I'm going to throw out Riley Mulvey's name as I just think this kid is going to be something special and a big surprise next year. Throw out all the "LOL" you want but I see a player that would have seen lot's of time on the court if it wasn't for Rebraca being on the team this year, but if not Riley then, I'd pick Tony as the other likely choice , but who knows, it could come from anywhere, or not at all.

Are you kidding? Offensively he’s the most talented player on the roster. Great shooter from all ranges, very good ball handler and excellent passer. Knows how to hunt a rebound. He was 6th man of the year, so a lot of people think otherwise. If not 1st team, he will be 2nd by the time he’s done at Iowa.

Perk is my guy.
We have seen him do it in some games this year...he just needs to do it in 80-90 % of BIG games.
Most of our all league guys were spotty the year before...then their senior year Fran empowers them and boom..all BIG

Good points. I said Not on roster yet BUT Perkins could do it if he can patent his really great games into 9 out of 10 games. If he can score around 20 on avg showing both an inside outside game, be really good rebounder and defender at the guard position, avg even 3 to 4 assists, and play good solid defense then he could be 1st team.

He had, what, 4 or 5 of those games this year. Now I hope he can do it 20-25 times next year. No Connor so Perkins should have the ball a lot
