No one disputes the need for a more efficient government. The problem is the reckless, uninformed approach Eloon is taking—slashing it with little insight or oversight. On top of that, there are clear conflicts of interest, given that he’s a private citizen. Comparing this to Obama appointing his VP to improve government efficiency, it’s no surprise that you aren’t taken seriously and are frequently mocked.

Legally how can the financial records of a state system using public funds not be subject to audit, transactional scrutiny and FOIA? Seems illegal to me if transparency isn’t involved.

One is a group of tweenagers rooting out any 'woke' words to defund things ( and missing on lots of counts, with words that sound woke, but actually have entirely different meanings)

Other is an actual auditor, reviewing finances and tracking where money goes.

A 3rd grader would be capable of understanding the difference here.
