wow; I wish Iowa fans could watch a live practice! that's pretty dang cool!

virtual...for people who donated to the R Fund...which is the big fundraising arm of athletics.

I got to go to the football game Saturday night...which was pretty damn exciting even before the game and the 3 OT.

I miss live sports.

DECEMBER 8 UPDATE:

NOTE:
All games are expected to be bubbled in Indianapolis/the Indianapolis area. The primary adjustment from a normal year is, of course, the playing of the entire NCAA tournament at a single site. There is no need to bracket any team away from a regional or subregional it is hosting, or attempt to give teams geographic priority based on their position on the seed list.

Lunardi says this about #1 Seed IOWA in his Dec 15 write up:

Concerns about Iowa's defense are pretty much moot if the Hawkeyes continue to average more than 100 points per game. With a quarter of them coming from presumptive Player of the Year Luka Garza, Iowa's short climb to the top line of the bracket was perhaps inevitable. We spent the entire offseason looking for a fourth No. 1 seed to join Gonzaga, Baylor and Villanova. The Hawkeyes clearly belong in that group.

If the Gonzaga game will be played, it will by far be the greatest test for us defensively. The only concern I have is that Luka may get into foul trouble in the matchup against Timme. I've seen him play and he's savvy around the basket. I think Luka should pull him out a lot.

Gonzaga is considered the #1 overall seed & Iowa the #4 overall seed

Should be a helluva game

Gonzaga will not see another team as good as this Iowa team for the rest of the season until we meet again in the NCAA tournament. They won't beat us this Saturday and they won't beat us in April either.....

it seems like most "experts" think Gonzaga is the best team in America

its gonna be interesting to see how both teams respond to this huge game

hopefully it gets played

People had been sleeping on Rutgers but a 4 seed may be about right. They may even jump to a 3 seed. Harper Jr is bigger and better than ever. Surprised he wasn't on the preseason all Big Ten team.

You can remove MSU from the bubble unless they make a miraculous turnaround. I know Izzo's teams get better as the season goes on, but they are never starting from a point this low before.

BTW, the Johnson kid that killed us with his three point shooting, went 1-4 last night against MSU. Who didn't see that coming?

Lazy work by Joe! Clearly he turned this in before Wisconsin lost. Their two losses are quite a bit worse than ours and their best W is a team ranked 10 spots lower in kenpom than UNC.

A #3 is what I was thinking the other day. Would gladly take that. Then it just depends what matchups you get to make a run

MSU has got problems and that's pretty obvious. They don't seem to be able to score effectively. My guess, that changes. They will have to lose 2,3,4 more games not to make it to the NCAA's, they love Izzo.

And Minny still destroyed MSU

Remember when MSU was #4 in the country? How the hell did the "experts" get MSU all wrong!?!

May I see your bracketology, please? ;)

Do you think in the end the B1G will get a #1 seed or will B1G teams continue to beat each other & prevent that? I am afraid the best seed the B1G will get is a 2

in this latest bracketology:

* We open w/ Belmont, which should be a W

* We then would play the winner of Virginia/Boise State (yikes!)

* The winner then meets #2 Tenn/#7 Minny/#10 Stanford

* That winner then likely faces #1 Baylor for a trip to the Final 4

Iowa is a 2 seed, according to Mike.

it is going to be a very difficult year for the committee. Not all will have played the same amount of games and with and with not many non con games the metrics won't be as easy to rely on.
