Iowa AG Bird attends Trump trial in NYC, expresses support for former president

She's indicated that it wasn't taxpayer funded. If anyone believes otherwise, shouldn't they provide a sound reason as to why they believe such?
Do you agree that this information should be made available to the public? Edit: We all want transparency in our state government, correct?

Interesting that you do not believe in transparency and good governance anymore.

Now, Tuesday, and Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House has announced he will be attending Trump’s trial in NYC today, to show his “solidarity” for #45.

Usually where there is hog shit, there is a smell, too.

Politics has no place in a criminal prosecution

As she stands there with two sitting U.S. Senators and another state’s elected AG.

The irony. It’s thick right here.

She's an elected official attending on her own time and at her own expense. If she's sees an injustice with the criminal justice system I see no issues with her calling it out.

She's in an elected position... basically a politician. In addition, the state of NY brought this case and she's in that state bitching about their case with other politicians. She should be in Iowa doing her own work instead of being political while complaining of politics.

Did she tell the assembled reporters to state that she was there as a private citizen? Would she have been invited if she wasn't the AG of Iowa? You have no proof that she went on her own expense.
What do people in Iowa, or people sitting on a jury in Iowa, make of the AG of Iowa stating that the legal system is corrupt and broken? Why should any case brought by her office be viewed as legitimate?
