This was recorded the day after Iowa beat LSU last year. Lisa started using the R&R offense in 2009. Rick Torbett is the guy that worked with Lisa on installing the offense. He talks about how it is very flexible and how it can be used to take advantage of a great post player (Megan) or can be used to take advantage of a great guard like Caitlin. He talks about how the offense really stresses development of all players (When you don’t have a Megan or Caitlin for example). About 40 minutes long, I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. But if you are interested.

Lol, hard wood

Here's a video (~4.5 mins) that goes along with Scott's podcast.
It shows some of actions the Hawks run with the Read and React offense in that LSU game they were talking about.
Realize there's way more to it than what we see here, however hope we get most of this back next year. Some of the stuff seen this year about made me lose my mind to see. It did seem to flow better at the end of the season but has more work to do.

Iowa Lady Hawkeyes Best Kept Offensive Secret

What I didn't understand about this offense is how few people know of its importance. Just figured a lot more people would know about it by now. There were one or two points talked about in Scott's podcast post that are very important that they just glossed over. One is how hard it is to scout this offense when you run it effectively. The other is putting the defense in position(s) that they lose no matter which way they choose to defend it.

Earlier in the year Iowa briefly played the rest and reflect offense - which didn't work so well.
