Iowa plays:

at #7 Michigan
#14 Penn State
at #17 Wisconsin
at #24 Iowa State
at #25 Northwestern
at Nebraska (9 votes)
Minnesota (1 vote)

Pretty tough schedule.

I know doesn't mean squat in grand scheme but still good to see 7 Big 10 teams showing conference will be tough this year. Big 10 West itself has 4 teams between the 17-26th spot. Penn St. one team I think is a bit over rated from the conference.

Pretty tough schedule.

And yet I feel like our team is better than 6 of those seven teams. (I don't believe in Penn St. or Wisconsin this year.) That doesn't mean we'll definitely beat them, but it means we have a good chance at navigating that tough schedule with success.

It will be interesting what those teams will be ranked when Iowa plays them.
Good point. On paper, the schedule looks like 3 teams we should beat, 1 team we should lose to, and 8 near coin flips. But, a lot of that is people assuming other teams figure out their very real question marks. We'll see how many of these teams people are wrong about.

One post in, nothing about Iowa, just Nebraska. lolz
You mean two posts in as the first post lists the top 25 including Iowa then lists others receiving votes which includes Nebraska. Good math skills and reading skills though from Nowledge U. :p

You got me on a technicality. I don't consider the OP as a post in the thread.

I don't know what they return, but we also play a Middle Tennessee State team that played in the CUSA title game last year.

They're tough if you're Michigan (so are Maryland and Indiana, apparently). Not if you're Iowa, though.

#6 Michigan
"The Wolverines typically play a difficult schedule, and this year is no exception. They start off against a Middle Tennessee squad that isn't a pushover.
Neither is Army, which has been really good over the last three seasons. Then they'll head to Wisconsin, which is (typically) a tough place to leave with a win. The second half of the season is tough. Their final six games are at Penn State, Notre Dame, at Maryland, Michigan State, at Indiana and the season finale against rival Ohio State. The silver lining is their three toughest games in that stretch are all at home. The problem is that Michigan has had a tough time beating any of those teams of late."

#10 Iowa
"The Hawkeyes have one of the more difficult road schedules in the country even though they play just five games away from Kinnick Stadium and none is too far from home. They will travel to Ames to face their rival, Iowa State, in September. As for their Big Ten road games, they will go to Michigan, Northwestern, Wisconsin and Nebraska. October begins with the trip to Ann Arbor to face the Wolverines before both Penn State and Purdue go to Kinnick Stadium. A tough five-game stretch ends with trips to defending Big Ten West division champion Northwestern and Wisconsin. "

No respect from the writer above when they are talking about how hard Michigan ‘s schedule is. Mentions just about everyone they play, EXCEPT Iowa. Hopefully, their team and coaches overlook our game, too!
