Currently Purdue does not have any ranked wrestlers.
Tony Ersland is starting his 3rd year at Purdue and has head assistant coach Tyrel Todd, assistant coach Kendrick Maple and volunteer assistant coach Jake Sueflohn.
Purdue has competed in five duals and two tournaments already this season, their only dual loss thus far was against #15 Stanford, 23-14. The other opponents were unranked.

ONLINE AND ON THE AIR
Sunday’s dual is broadcast on AM 800 KXIC and audio streamed online at Hawkeye All-Access. Steven Grace and Mark Ironside have the call live from Holloway Gymnasium.
The dual is streamed live on BTN Plus, a subscription service on btn2go.com .

technical difficulties.... as in it will be fixed and start later, or just throwing in the towel and we get nothing for our subscription?

Purdue is a good engineering school... did they screw something up, or is it just a BTN f'up?

Given that neither the BTN or all-access were able to stream I think the answer is pretty clear.

BTW, having a wonderful engineering school doesn't mean you own the internet.

That completely fu**ing sucks!!! Those BTN2GO f**kers who take my money every year to watch Iowa wrestling should get one of their lame asses out to Purdue and get behind a camera...I don't give a rat's ass about Purdue technical diffiulties. I Googled the facility; it's still there and it was never without power. This is BULLSH**!!!

You think the issue was they didn't have anyone who could run a camera?
 
Spooner, you clearly have this all figured out. What exactly were the technical difficulties that happened tonight that had nothing to do with the BTN?

Nope...sure don't. But my point is that since the B10 had revenues each year in the neighborhood of of just over one billion dollars, I don't want to hear any BS about technical difficulties. Again, I checked...the building was standing during the event and there was electricity throughout the event....so in this day and age, I'm not OK with BTN2GO not having audio/video for the subscribers who pay for said audio/video. Worst case scenario, we should be able to view it after the fact. Here in TN, if it's not on BTN2GO, it's not on. And as an annual subscriber, I'm not ok with the technical difficulty crap. I've reached out to the BTN2GO staff and am curious what they have to say...aside from the crazy idiot who got on the live chat and informed me that "I don't see it on our schedule today." Hopefully they'll fire that idiot for providing a paying subscriber such a dumba** response.

The announcement was that there were technical difficulties on the Purdue campus and neither all-access audio or BTN+ video was available. Does it take a lot of intellect to figure this out?

Does it take a lot of intellect to figure out that BTN accepted money from people without providing the service that they sold and therefore the people not receiving what they paid for are irritated?

Stuff happens, but to think that people won't vent when it does is naive. Whether this was the fault of BTN or not, they should hold themselves responsible for failing to deliver on what they promised.

You act as if you know that the BTN had no involvement with or responsibility for the technical difficulties. You also insulted the intellect of a lot of Hawkeye Wrestling fans. You need to control your computer tongue.

The BTN is responsible for this. They need to start fining schools that don't have their shit together. Fine Purdue 50k for not providing a service and making the BTN look bad. This happens way too often. Spooner can be their fluffer all he wants but it doesn't change the fact that the BTN enables this by not holding schools accountable.

This is spot on.
I can kind of understand how live streams can get mucked up, especially for a $10 a month service, but the fact that it's not available to watch in replay is unacceptable.
That tells me they didn't even bother to hit record on their cameras and just shut it down. Total bush league as they call it on here.

or give account holders a credit, just like a newspaper company does if your delivery doesn't arrive (yeah, I'm an old fart who still gets a newspaper.
