Iowa baseball beats WVU 6-4 in 12 innings today in Florida. Iowa was up 4-3 in the ninth and allowed WVU to tie it. WVU had the bases loaded with one out in the Bottom 11th when Andrew Hanse got a K and a 3-2 ground out to let Iowa play on. Iowa took advantage and scored two runs in the Top 12th. Nick Hibbing came in and did allow a couple hits, but got a double play allowing Iowa to win.
Iowa is now 7-6 on the year and record their first weekend sweep in sometime. Iowa opens up in Iowa City next weekend with a three game series against Nebraska-Omaha.
