Iowa Baseball Schedule Moving Forward

I was looking at Iowa's schedule moving forward and our conference schedule is MUCH tougher than anybody figured it would be prior to the season. We are seeing a resurgent Illinois and Ohio State program. They both had 2-3 down years, but appear to be very tough this year. You throw in Nebraska, Minnesota, and Michigan who are always decent and it will be tough sledding for Iowa.

These next two weekends @ Illinois and vs Ohio State are very big moving forward.

You throw in Bradley x2 as midweek games and 8 of our next 9 are against Top 50 RPI (as of now) teams. So Iowa is definitely going to have some opportunity.

Illinois is ranked #25 now by D1 Baseball. That will make three out of our last four series vs top 25 teams. If Iowa can get a couple wins this weekend @ Illinois our RPI will be in the 40's.

Or you could look at it the other way and this is the year that Iowa can play its way into an at-large bid due to a difficult B1G schedule.
