Right....Duane Banks seats 3,000 people. So go back to Nebraska and keep telling yourself you're entitled to the CWS and keep imagining your senior (if they were good, they'd all been drafted) led team is a powerhouse and its just a matter of time before you return to Omaha. The only time you'll be in Omaha in the near future is to play Creighton or for the TD Ameritrade Classic.

That's funny considering Iowa can't even make the Big Ten tourny let alone the NCAA tourny. You will never see your Hogeyes even come close to Omaha. Yet, if NU fails to make it to Omaha again I got to experience it three times. With that said..one athletic program atleast strives to reach Omaha and puts up the resources to do so. The other athletic program hires Jack Dahm and keeps him around just because he's decent at bringing in donations. You all hired a guy who couldn't even cut it at Creighon lmao. With that said...you have failed to show you know much about Collehe baseball regardless of the topic considering you stayed Nebraska is a bad loss. 42 RPI is a bad loss? So Iowa basketball was a terrible loss this year?

Iowa made it to the CWS before the Cornhaulers even sniffed it. Granted that was before my time in the 1970's, so don't give me that never going to make it. Baseball history goes before 2000 and when Dave Van Horn was at Nebby. What did Nebby average a game before DVH? 200? 300? On a good day....

and yes Iowa basketball was a bad loss for a team that would have a top 25 RPI....

UC Irvine doesn't have a top 25 RPI. In fact....Nebraska has a higher RPI than them currently. Maybe you should do some research before you post! And lol at you bringing up the 70's. haha...your Hogeyes will never sniff Omaha. Try making the big ten tourny first

LOL I said Iowa BASKETBALL would be considered a bad loss for a team with a top 25 RPI....pay attention sparky!

With that being said I know Iowa is a bad baseball team this year, our offense is putrid at best and yet they have still managed to run TWO of your weekend starters before three full innings of work, hmmm.....goodluck wishing to be like CS-Fullerton and Arkansas

This year? More like decades. And what was the point of bringing up Iowa basketball would be a bad loss for a top 25 RPI team if you weren't referencing it towards NU baseball. Nice try. Good luck trying to be like Nebraska baseball! Hilarious that you spend so much time on a garbage program like Iowa Hogeyes baseball

Ahh so you're saying I should be like a "Nebraska fan" and like Nebraska football and then cheer for Duke Basketball (like several do) or Creighton Basketball (like several do), naw I'll stick to the Iowa Hawkeyes and know I am a real fan of a program that does it the right way win, lose, or draw.

Win???? Hahahaha. I don't exactly think of "win" when I think of the Iowa Hogeyes. You are more obsessed with Nebraska than you are with your Iowa Hogeyes.

They are still an elite team that has CWS worthy talent. They just had some bad breaks early on...just ask their fans, they will tell you this.

Nebraska baseball will never be what it used to be now that they are in the BIG. Tough recruiting for baseball in a northern conference. That's reality.

Then go to the Husker Board....where reality does not exist...

We didn't load up our non-con with easy games like Iowa did with playing the like of UNO. Oh whoooops Iowa can't even beat UNO! Embarrassing. Nobody said Nebraska is "back" in baseball. Teams in the past would have pummeled a terrible program like Iowa. With that said..the new staff is cleaning up on the recruiting trail and bringing in the best Midwest talent. Iowa on the other had still has Jack Dahm as their head coach hahahahahah

LOL While Iowa should've won the series vs UNO, our SOS is 2nd in the Big Ten next to Nebraska moron.

And what do you have to show for it? Another losing season? Being at the bottom of the big ten?? Nebraska has played 10 games against RPI top 50 teams...all road games. Erstad made the schedule this way to set the tone for the upcoming years even though he knew the talent is not were it needs to be. Despite that...Nebraska still is one of the best teams in the big ten and Erstad is cleaning up on the recruiting trail.

And Dahm has "cleaned up" on the recruiting trail for years as well. At the end of the day Iowa is a bad Big Ten team and Nebraska is an average Big Ten team. Yup, just another Big Ten team, it must hurt knowing that, but keep telling yourself how elite the 13-17 Huskers are.

The difference is Iowa is not that the hogeyes are a bad big ten..it's that thy are a terrible program. Terrible facilities and put zero resources into the program. Nebraska on the other hand..have some of the best facilities in the nation and shell out the money for the program. Iowa is fine with being a loser. Not very surprising though.

Good for Nebraska getting the money and facilities once they made a run to super regionals and the cws. Tell us about Buck Beltzer and how great it was when Neb averaged 300 fans a game? When cleat indents and mouth guards from spring football practice would cause baseballs to bounce in funny directions. Winning does things like get you good facilities. If Dahm could get a team to make a super regional run, I am sure money would come into the program.

So you shell out all this money and you are 13-17? Sounds like something I will brag about too

KC - it seems you are rather enthralled with the "Hogeyes" as you post incessantly on here.

You talk smack about our field yet yours is named "Hawks field" - thanks!

Hawks Field is arguably the finest ballpark in college baseball. Its capacity is 8,500 with 4,500 seats and berms in the outfield. It also has a playground down the right field line.

You stated you feel like driving to a HS field when approaching Duane Banks - nice to hear your "college" park has a playground similar to my son's elementary.

Does our baseball team stink - yep, you better believe it. Hopefully we hire someone that can turn it around (no where else to go really). You see we can admit when things aren't good, unlike you Fuskers.
