Woohoo! The 66 yards of total offense was the worst in Kirk Ferentz's 19 years. Yes, worse than any offensive production his first team had (the team that won one game all year). More importantly, Iowa helped Wisconsin break its all-time record for allowing the fewest yards to a B10 opponent. I will write that again just in case you missed it. Since 1896, the first year of the B10 conference, 120 seasons of B10 football, the University of Wisconsin Badgers broke their record for fewest yards allowed by their defense against a B10 opponent's offense. They've had 56 losing records in the B10. None of those bad, horrible teams held an opponent's offense to fewer yards than they did to the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday.
Congratulations, Hawkeyes offense. You did it! You left your mark on Iowa football history! I doubt any Hawkeye fans that saw this game will ever forget it.
