Well no surprises here. Kaleb Johnson, Lachey, Colby, Black, Higgins, Castro and Jemari Harris were all invited.
No Jackson????Well no surprises here. Kaleb Johnson, Lachey, Colby, Black, Higgins, Castro and Jemari Harris were all invited.
Tough to say not a surprise, but he is undersized. It's also a crazy deep class at the LB spot. For reference, Higgins is only ranked 13th best LB in this years class according to ESPN.No Jackson????
If Higgins runs a decent 40 and has good shuttle drills He will go higher than many expect. Guy is a ballerTough to say not a surprise, but he is undersized. It's also a crazy deep class at the LB spot. For reference, Higgins is only ranked 13th best LB in this years class according to ESPN.

I agree. Really like Black, but he seems to play high some times. If he fixed that, he’ll be a load to handle!I like Jackson’s nfl potential way more than black. Kind of shocked he got invited.
I wouldn't be surprised if Jay Hig doesn't go that high, BUT someone is going to get a steal in round 3-5....If Higgins runs a decent 40 and has good shuttle drills He will go higher than many expect. Guy is a baller
Some of those are pro day numbers, rather than combine results. Here is the official list of combine invites for 2021: https://www.nfl.com/news/2021-nfl-scouting-combine-full-list-of-invited-prospectsThis list shows 13 Hawks invited in 2021.

Fast enough to outrun every defender and never get run down from behind.Kaleb has to prove he has the speed to meet the resurgence of NFL RB's. Anybody know his last recorded 40 time?
He got ran down several times. Go back and look at the film.Fast enough to outrun every defender and never get run down from behind.
It’s between Luke and KJ in my opinion. It’ll probably come down to who drafts them.I think Luke is going to have the best NFL career out of this bunch.
I didn't see all games and missed parts of games, but I don't remember him ever being " run down" at all. He was caught by guys who had the angle on him, but after he cleared the defense? Maybe in the games I didn't see, or missed parts of. Moulton was run down a couple of times. He got ran down several times. Go back and look at the film.
So, Kaleb's 40 time is 4.5 which is all I could find online, but he might be a little faster. The Average NFL running back's 40 time is 4.49. So not elite speed by any measurement. Also, the angle thing is in most instances is a myth. On any given play there is usually only 2 and on rare occasions 3 players who can have an angle on a running back who has broken into the clear. That would be the safety(s) and possible one DB. For the angle to come into play and be the deciding factor, the player would be required to run a shorter distance than the running back and be slower than the running back, not be engaged with a blocker, not be required to change direction, and be at full speed immediately. In most cases, it is a faster player who took a good angle who ran down a back from behind. The angle is important, but it's the better speed that is the key.I didn't see all games and missed parts of games, but I don't remember him ever being " run down" at all. The reporting of 40 times is very iffy - at best. Depending on whether it is laser or hand-held, the results can very up to 0.5 seconds. I look at 40 times with a grain of saltSo, Kaleb's 40 time is 4.5 which is all I could find online, but he might be a little faster. The Average NFL running back's 40 time is 4.49. Yeah. Kaleb is plenty fast enough and top end speed is probably about 4th on the list of key attributes for running backs, with vision, quickness, and ability to break tackles being the most important qualities. I don't think anyone is going to question Saquon's or Derrick Henry's speed and they ran a 4.4 and a 4.54 respectively at the combine. So, Kaleb's 40 time is 4.5 which is all I could find online, but he might be a little faster. This. Being concerned about the difference between guys who run a 4.4 and say a 4.5 or 4.55 even is silly. If the RB (who runs a 4.55) breaks through and gets a 5 yards or more head start, (the RB is also heading in that direction while the DB probably had to turn or shift and get up to speed), even if the DB runs a 4.4 it will take him at least half the field to catch the RB, and its not that often your running more then 50 yards. Not to mention but some guys run faster when their being chased, and the RB can run at an angle away from the defenderYeah. Any teenage hoodlum can attest to this (myself included). I was once chased by an angry driver after tossing a snowballs at his car. He surprised us by slamming his brakes and jumped out of his car in a full sprint. He was on my ass and fast. Not to mention but some guys run faster when their being chased, and the RB can run at an angle away from the defender
So true. I once had a pissed off dude chasing me with a golf club and Usain Bolt couldn’t have caught me.Any teenage hoodlum can attest to this (myself included). I bet I ran a sub 4.4 adrenaline forty….. cleared a tall neighborhood fence in no time also. That man had bad days intentions.

Back in the Day real hoodlums would have had a couple D Cell batteries in pocket for that last line of defense against berserker angry Drivers. These Days those hoodlums do not bother throwing anything they just throw the car door open at gun point and steal Your ride , hopefully without discharging said firearm .Snowballs: the great equalizer!
We once expected a chase, so we had three guys "parked", ready to pelt any chasers. The good ol' days!
or betterI think Higgins can have a similar NFL career as Jewell.
9looks like 2011 had 8.
