It's amazing how fragile some Iowa fans are. I can't help but marvel at the ascending level of angst. The "soap opera du jour" centers around the denigration of Iowa's offense by ESPN.
"Boohoo, Iowa's offensive woes are so terrible, Iowa is being chastised by sports commentators! Iowa has become a laughingstock at the national level! The horror! We just cannot stand for this to continue."
Every day, I can hardly wait to see what new drama is being played out in the Lounge by the angst ridden amongst Iowa fans. It's quite entertaining, often times bordering on hilarity. So don't stop.
Not that I want it to happen, but the entertainment value would be off the charts if the Hawks lost their next five games! I'm afraid psychotherapists in Iowa would be overwhelmed with depressed fans.
So, for the sake of entertainment, I hope the Hawks win today, 4-2.
