I do think it will change things in lots of respects, but insofar as the NIL will help "the great programs get the great players," its not going to cause much of a sea change.

Maybe not, but NIL benefits is just another incentive the big boys can use to entice players. I suspect athletic departments are going to add a few employees with the sole function of "selling" the players and it will be more profitable for these kids to be marketed by schools like Duke and Kentucky, which are much more national brands as compared to little ole Iowa.
