Iowa hosts Michigan: Can Hawks keep streak at Kinnick?

This will be the 62nd meeting between Michigan and
Iowa. The Wolverines hold a 42-15-4 lead in the all-time
series and have won 13 of the last 21 games in the series.

U-M at Kinnick Stadium
Michigan heads into Iowa City having claimed victory in six
of its last 10 trips to Kinnick Stadium with one tie against
the Hawkeyes (6-3-1). U-M has a 15-8-1 record at Kinnick
Stadium and is 16-8-1 all-time in Iowa City, Iowa.

Wolverines in Night Games
This will be the fourth night game for the Wolverines in
seven contests this season. U-M has posted a 2-1 record in
the previous three night games during the 2020 season.
U-M has compiled a 36-37 overall record in night games,
inlcuding a 24-16 mark on the road.

Michigan in December
After cancellations the last two games, the Iowa game
could be the second-ever regular season football game
played by Michigan in the month of December. The only
previous regular season game was played at Hawaii on
Dec. 6, 1986, a 27-10 victory for Michigan led by quarter-
back Jim Harbaugh. U-M’s only other contests during the
12th month of the season have been post-season match-
ups in seven different bowl games.

141st Season of Michigan Football
The 2020 season marks the 141st in Michigan Football his-
tory. The Wolverines have an NCAA-leading 964 victories,
claimed 42 Big Ten Championships and won 11 national
titles since the inception of the program in 1879.
