IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa football team’s (5-0, 1-0) Saturday Homecoming contest against Illinois (4-1, 1-0) has been moved from ESPNU to ESPN2. Kickoff is set for 11:01 a.m. (CT) inside Kinnick Stadium.

Other Big Ten programming changes for Saturday include, ESPN will now televise Indiana at Penn State (11 a.m. CT), while ESPNU will air Minnesota at Purdue (2:30 p.m. CT).

These changes, and those made to Saturday's Southeastern Conference and American Athletic Conference schedules, were made to accommodate the shift in venue and time of LSU – South Carolina game as a result of last week’s weather-related tragedy in the state of South Carolina.

Tickets are on sale for Iowa’s four remaining home games, and are available online at hawkeyesports.com, by calling 1-800-IA-HAWKS, or in person at the UI athletics ticket office located in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

At least 5-0 was fun. Mowins pretty much guarantees a loss while I also stab my ear drums.

I knew that dodging Beth Mowins for another week was too good to be true.

Seriously, I don't know why they couldn't just move IA-IL to ESPN and leave IN-PSU on ESPN2. It seems like the logistics would have been easier, plus the bonus of getting a ranked team on the flagship station. Oh, well. I guess those decisions are made by people who make a lot more money than I do, for doing a lot less work.

So....Minnesota was kicked to the basement? ,,,,,,,and its kind of sad, the Gopher fans had such high hopes just a few short weeks ago.

Sure wish Mowins was in. Pay enough attention to the game, and announcers really don't matter. Way too much made out who, and isin't calling the game.

I notice the announcers much less in an Iowa game than a random game I don't care about.

I'm not a fan of Mowins and it's one thing to joke about her on the boards (I admit I laugh at a lot of it). I just hope our fans don't ever take this so seriously that they resort to personal attacks via more visible social media.

Like wind up on Kimmel's mean celebrity tweets??? That would be funny lol...

It's not Mowins (praise the Lord).
I was ready to just mute my volume on the TV. Her voice is irritating, but worse than that she talks way too much, with many incorrect statements.

There are some Color Commentators that simply don't recognize their role to just compliment the main (play by play) announcer. Mack Brown does the same thing, feeling he must talk ever time the main announcer says something.

Women should not be allowed to announce games. IDGAF if it sounds sexist.

Oh, you boys are so f'in ignorant. I suppose blacks should still be enslaved? I supposed gays should be impaled. Maybe I'm exaggerating the point, but your opinion comes across as redneck and dumb. GTFO, we don't need your kind here!

This stinks, I had set my recording for espnu. Will not have the game when I get home on Sunday evening. Hopefully the game in 60. Only if the Hawks win!

Nothing wrong with women announcing women's games, but not many have the insight on football. I am sure it is an attempt by ESPN to satisfy a minority hiring quota.

Also, there are many poor male announcers, but with the amount of televised games, the quality of the announcing pool gets rather thin.
