I'd certainly say so. This is so frustrating. What is the deal. Brands has never done this.
Joining back in and Bowman is down is 4-8.

I believe Brooks and Jackson are 1-1 this year. Split at Midlands. Both Jackson and Dudley are tough matchups for him. He has to wear Jackson down, his conditioning has been suspect. He held on late vs Gravina in their duel with Rutgers. He's brilliant in the first period though.

No. The real match is Sunday. He wins, he moves to a 2 seed
Real match is Sunday but Brooks skipping tonights match is not good for the sport of wrestling.....We as Iowa fans have complained constantly about Tom Ryan holding his wrestlers out for better seeds and yet this is exactly what happened tonight. Just don't think this is good for the sport.
Big 10 is so loaded it really doesn't matter. Win or lose Sunday Sammy is likely the 2 or 3 seed with a matchup with Dudley in semis. Dont see him falling to 4.

BTN announcers didn't know what the hell was going on most of the night. My ten year old daughter knows more about wrestling than they do.
Yep. The only way he moves to 4 is if he loses tonight. Which is the only logical reason he didn't wrestle. That's orange.
We, as Iowa fans, have also complained incessantly about our guys dragging ass at the end of the year. Big difference between Sammy taking one night off on a two match weekend with an away and a home in a match that's not even going to be close in front of a crowd of 500. Another BTW, it's likely that Bowman will be in there next year at some point so it will be good for him to get a feel of how far he is out from the tougher guys. Now he has film for a point of reference for next year in two matches.
I'm an idiot. I totally forgot about Sunday. Makes sense, but he has stated that he doesn't make weight not to wrestle in the past. He's just the last guy in my opinion that would sit out of a dual. Carry on gents.
Agree to disagree.....this simply was nothing more then protecting a seed and had nothing to do with Sammy dragging ass at the end of the year.....this was the only match most were looking forward to in regard to tonight's dual.
No It is call hand play according to Jay Baruchel. The kid from Indiana has the same annoying voice and probably knows less about wrestling. Kinda what we've come to expect from the students. It keeps things comical to say the least.
"skaddleded" You have definitely earned my vote for broadcaster of the year! I think that is a verb.
