Currently we're trending up while Wisky and Ped State are out. All we have to do is keep winning. This weekend's game is the make or break for the season. I think we've been playing strong, fundamental football and teams cant keep up with us. We didn't even have a penalty against Maryland last week.

Things like this get me especially giddy, the idea of Iowa on the national stage is a dream I've had for a long time.

That goes without saying. Doesn't change the fact that that "sum" was reached because of a few boneheaded outlier plays that shouldn't have happened. The sum of 1+1+1+1+2+2+1+2+1+1,000000 is 1,000,012. Doesn't mean 1,000,012 is a good representation of that population of numbers. Iowa was the better team in that game, but sometimes a small series of crucial outlier big impact plays can cause a better team to lose.

Ya, wisconsin went on a 10 play 88 yard drive in da 4th to take da lead 21-17. When da game was in doubt, wisconsin was clearly da better team.

Bama made the playoffs after not playing for an SEC Championship in 2011 and 2017. If Wisconsin and Iowa win out........Why not Iowa if every other teams continues to lose?

Might be the perfect storm for Iowa. It’s happened before and having two options to get into the play offs is a real possibility. Might just have to thank Bama twice - for getting in under the same circumstances and when the Hawks beat them in the semis! I’d prefer the Hawks win a B1G title to secure a spot but one can can dream regardless. Go Hawks!
