Iowa Jersey question

Sorry if this has been asked before.

What is with the little hump in the top middle of Iowa's jerseys? Right in the middle of the players' last name.

I haven't noticed it on other Nike jerseys, but it is odd.

I read somewhere that it's some sort of health monitoring device, sort of a FitBit taped to the player's upper back. Will try to see if I can find the original article.
