Yes, but they interviewed him before they would up hiring Pitino, so they knew him.
SJU should have hired Anderson instead of a 70 year old Pitino dragging all that baggage behind him.

Iona always tricks me.

In '98 tournament, Dad yelled up from his basement and asked if Iowa made the tournament. Me being 12 or so yelled back 'Yeah dad, we made it!'

Turns out is was Iona. He laughed at that one for awhile.
