As I hinted at last week in a recruiting rundown, once the evaluation period started, I suspected that Iowa might be rolling out a few more offers. The first one happened today when they offered 2016 PG Charlie Moore out of Morgan Park HS in Chicago. He's a smaller point guard, but a really good player. Tough kid too.

Just spoke with his coach Nick Irvin, who said Coach Dillard called him today to let him know they were offering and Fran called Charlie to let him know he had the offer. Irvin said Moore has always liked Iowa and the way they play. Thinks he would be a great fit. Nick loves Coach Dillard and Fran and said they have been great recruiting his kids.

Irvin said Moore is one of the best point guards he has ever had on his team. He might not be big, but he has a huge heart and will do anything to win. Really good shooter and scored 49 points in a game this past year.

Hoping to get Moore on the phone to find out info on his end yet today. Irvin said DePaul, Missouri, Xavier, UMass, and several other schools are showing strong interest in him.
