I like it. My guess is we have another highly rated Epenesa on our hands.

I wouldn't read too much into it. He's being respectful to all the programs that are offering right now, as he should be.
I have zero information of an inside nature on this. I would say Iowa would be among the favorites, but some kids want to chart a different path than other family members. Iowa certainly got in early enough here.
The 6-3, 228 lbs for Iose is from the Rivals Camp in Indy last month, so accurate and recent.
I keep glancing at this thread title and thinking it says "Lose Epenesa". And it makes me sad for some reason.

Mack Brown turns 70 in late August; their program has had a resurgence.
Eppy is a first class guy. He'll treat every program and coach with respect and I'm sure he teaches his kids to do the same.
I figured that he was so far better than anyone else, they didn't hand out 2nd place and moved everyone down a slot.
I read the thread title and I thought we lost him to another program. I thought it said Lose not Iose.
I'll be curious where the young man ends up projecting ... more LB or DL?

Iose's numbers above as an 8th grader. Shot would have been 19th in Drake relays for high school. Discus would have been 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He definitely has skills.
I imagine that AJ's stats were as a high school junior since he's wearing his Army AA jersey in the picture. Younger Eppy is an 8th grader so......
